April 2025 - New Address for Durham Irrigation District Office

Durham Irrigation District is excited to announce that effective April 24, 2025 we relocated our office to a new location just down the street.

January 10, 2025 - Planned Water Service Interruption

There will be a planned water service interruption to repair a service lateral on Florida Lane.

December 18, 2024 - Planned Water Service Interruption

There will be a planned water service interruption to replace a segment of the Brown-Faber Mainline on December 18, 2024. This project is continuing from 12/17/2024.

July 12, 2024 - Planned Water Service Interruption

There will be a planned water service interruption to repair a mainline leak on July 12, 2024.

April 24, 2024 - Service Lateral Repair - Possible Service Impact

The work is scheduled to commence at approximately 10:00 am and conclude by 12:00 pm on Wednesday April 24, 2024.

April 3, 2024 - Well Assessment and Flow Testing Project - Possible Service Impact

The work is scheduled to commence at approximately 7:30 am and conclude by 5:00 pm on Wednesday April 3, 2024 at the locations noted below.

November 2023 - Meter Replacement Project

In September of this year, the District awarded the meter installation project for to Walberg, Inc. based in Corning. The project commenced on November 1, 2023 and is planned to be completed by the end of November.

October 3, 2023 - Boil Water Notice Lifted for All Customers

On Saturday, Sept. 30, Durham Irrigation District notified customers of the need to boil/disinfect all tap water used for drinking and cooking purposes.

September 30, 2023 - Boil Water Notice for All Customers

Due to the recent storm-related power outage, which occurred on September 29, 2023, the State Water Resources Control Board, Division of Drinking Water, the Butte County Health Department, and Durham Irrigation District are advising customers to only use boiled tap water or bottled water for drinking and cooking purposes as a safety precaution to avoid stomach or intestinal illness. July 14, 2023 - Possible Water Service Interruption

There will be a possible water service interruption to repair service line leaks at TWO locations on Friday July 14, 2023.

There will be a planned water service interruption to repair a mainline leak on Tuesday June 6, 2023.

May 24, 2023 - Planned Water Service Interruption - CANCELLED

UPDATE: Tuesday May 23, 2023 - THERE WILL BE NO WATER SERVICE INTERRUPTION. The District's Water Operator was able to complete the repair without having to interrupt water service.
