June 5, 2025 - Planned Water Service InterruptionThere will be a planned water service interruption to repair a leak on an older segment of the Brown-Faber Mainline on June 6, 2025.
February 2025 - Brown-Faber Pipeline Replacement ProjectDurham Irrigation District has completed a significant water infrastructure upgrade on the Brown-Faber pipeline in Durham to replace a segment of the 60-year-old steel pipeline that was in poor condition.
January 10, 2025 - Planned Water Service InterruptionThere will be a planned water service interruption to repair a service lateral on Florida Lane.
December 18, 2024 - Planned Water Service InterruptionThere will be a planned water service interruption to replace a segment of the Brown-Faber Mainline on December 18, 2024. This project is continuing from 12/17/2024.
April 24, 2024 - Service Lateral Repair - Possible Service ImpactThe work is scheduled to commence at approximately 10:00 am and conclude by 12:00 pm on Wednesday April 24, 2024.
April 3, 2024 - Well Assessment and Flow Testing Project - Possible Service ImpactThe work is scheduled to commence at approximately 7:30 am and conclude by 5:00 pm on Wednesday April 3, 2024 at the locations noted below.
November 2023 - Meter Replacement ProjectIn September of this year, the District awarded the meter installation project for to Walberg, Inc. based in Corning. The project commenced on November 1, 2023 and is planned to be completed by the end of November.
June 1, 2023 - Low Water PressureSome areas served by the District have been experiencing extremely low water pressure since approximiately May 24, 2023. The areas known to be affected are connections along Durham-Dayton Highway east of Midway and all of the connections on Van Ness Way.
