November 2023 - Meter Replacement Project

Meter Replacement Project Underway - November 2023

In September of this year, the District awarded the meter installation project for to Walberg, Inc. based in Corning. The project commenced on November 1, 2023 and is planned to be completed by the end of November.

Meter replacement locations are scattered throughout the District, but primarily in the older parts of Durham where there are a number of unmetered service connections. There are a total of 40 grant-funded meter replacements scheduled in various parts of Durham, so there will be additional service interruptions throughout the month.

Meter Replacement Project - Phase 5 Service Interruptions

There will be planned water service interruptions affecting approximately 70 connections as noted below. This is part of the continuing districtwide Meter Replacement Project.

Meter Replacement Project - Phase 4 Service Interruptions

There will be planned water service interruptions affecting approximately 50 connections as noted below. This is part of the continuing districtwide Meter Replacement Project.

There will be planned water service interruptions affecting approximately 120 connections as noted below. This is part of the continuing districtwide Meter Replacement Project.
