The proposed connection fee adjustment is made pursuant to the Connection Fee Analysis and Recommendations approved by the Board at the January 22, 2025 board meeting, which provides for an annual adjustment to connection fees based on changes in the Consumer Price Index (CPI) for U.S. City Average as published by the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics.

Connection fees are one-time charges assessed by the district when a property or new development is first linked to the District's water system. It does not apply to current customers except in certain circumstances, such as a lot split.
